  33. I'm going to visit a conference in Baltimore May 16-20. (Stouffer Harborplace 
  34. Hotel). As an active radioamateur I would very much appreciate to get in 
  35. contact with some local hams from in Baltimore or to get some information 
  36. regarding good shops for radio equipment.

  49.         I've just aquired a PRC-47 military radio set and was wondering if
  50. anyone out there in net-kingdom might have any helpful hints or any other
  51. info about this set...personal experiences and advice would be really
  52. nice.....
  53.         I've also been told that there is a mechanical filter available for
  54. this set to allow LSB transmission...if anyone knows of the source for
  55. these (I was told they were about $25.00 USD...), please let me know that
  56. as well.....
  57.         For those that do not know what this radio is, it is a fairly
  58. large, cumbersomb, manpack (45#?!), military field radio.  It covers
  59. 2-11.999 MHz and has cw/fsk and USB capability (no lsb...the military
  60. doesn't like to put lsb on most all their radios.....regardless of
  61. frequency.....)  It was primarily intended for mobile or portable use...
  62.         Please e-mail responses as I don't always seem to get all the news
  63. that goes through the net.....
